The Daly Creek Winery is located in a building built originally as a creamery in the 1950's. It's terra cotta floors with numerous floor drains, glazed tile walls, 14' high ceilings and cold storage areas lends itself ideally to a winery operation. The winery production area is visible from the tasting room through two large viewing windows.

Daly Creek is currently producing about 6,000 gallons of wine annually in six varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, White Zinfandel, Niagara, and a sweet Cherry. Our newest variety, a Sauvignon Blanc blend, is named "Gothic White" in honor of Anamosa's most famous resident, the artist Grant Wood.

Winery tours are available explaining the wine making process, from fermentation, clarification and aging, to the bottling operation.

Daly Creek's vineyard is located 3 miles east of Anamosa on the owners family farm that their
great-grandfather bought in 1854. The two-acre vineyard was planted in 2003 and has 3 varieties of French-American hybrid grape vines.
